Foster Youth Services (FYS) FYS provides educational support services to foster youth who suffer the traumatic effects of displacement from family and schools and multiple placements in foster care. FYS programs have the ability and authority to ensure that health and school records are obtained to establish appropriate placements and coordinate instruction, counseling, tutoring, mentoring, vocational training, emancipation services, training for independent living, and other related services. FYS programs increase the stability of placements for foster children and youth. These services are designed to improve the children's educational performance and personal achievement. Mt. Our Foster Family Agency provides State Certfied Foster Care homes for children of all ages who are dependents or wards of the court. These foster homes are used as a temprary solution while the childs parents obtain the help needed to provide an appropriate living enviroment for their child. Wrap around services are used to obtain the goal of reunification during placement. If you are interested in becoming a Certified Foster Parent please contact Carole McCulley. |
