| Questions & Answers about TPP What does the program cost? Most services are not based on income and do not involve a fee. What happens if the student moves outside Modoc County? Once a student is a client with the Department of Rehabilitation, the case may be transferred to other areas within the state. Does a student have to be in Special Education to qualify? No - people with other types of disabilities can also qualify. What are some examples of other qualifying disabilities? Chronic asthma, heart trouble, orthopedic problems, acute vision or hearing loss, and substance abuse What if the student is already enrolled in college or technical school? The student may still be eligible for assistance with books, tuition, special tools or transportation. How long can someone be enrolled in the program? There is no time limit.
